Dragons Age:origin

This might be the next big game I'm looking forward to. I think Bioware might be one of the best developers out there. Their graphics are good and the stories leave you so many options to play the game. I know it has been moved out so there will be other games to play but is anybody excited for this game. I'm not sure if I'll go the Xbox360 vs the Playstation 3 game. It will depend if DLC is coming on only one console or both. Then if its both I will have a hard time choosing. Either way if you like these dungeon and dragon type games, we will be in for treat to play.

I've always been a huge fan of Bioware. I believe our GDC team will be speaking with the CEO this week in an interview...

I think that would be neat to sit down with the Drs and see what they are planning. I have really never seen how a video game is made and visiting one of the developers would be awesome perk for reporting. I think its pretty cool that these two Drs left their previous jobs to become game makers. I wish the GDC team luck and hopefully we'll get some really good insight into the game.

I am also very interested in this but I'll be getting this on 360 down to the fact Bioware know that console through and through

So far from what I've seen... This game is freaking amazing... I wish I had the specs on my Comp to run the PC version, I really don't want to go Xbox.... then I've seen games like Ego Draconis that offer a more focuses 1 player action w.o the micro control of a party, plus some crazy Dragon Transforming/Flying/burning/destroying action, but I wana see what they did differently than the EU version.

I just bought it yesterday. I couldn't resist. Plus, since it has the dl code for the Mass Effect 2 armor, my man went halves on it with me. Good thing, since it's a tight pay period. Anyway, I don't have tons of time this week to play because of my schedule, but I'm trying to squeeze in a little each day. So far, I love it. I'm only at the VERY beginning of the game, but I have to say, I'm really amused by having my dog bring me crazy things back when I ask him if he sees anything interesting!!

Once I get more into fighting things, I'll probably have more to say about this game. The only thing that bums me out is that my character doesn't seem to talk. All the NPCs talk, but my chick is mute. Kind of disappointing.

This game does look pretty amazing. I'm usually not into these kind of games, but this game has gotten my attention. I too hope that my computer can run this game. If not I'll get it for my PS3.This genre is starting to appeal a little more to me, so this looks like the right game to start with. Anyone know of any other games like Dragon Age??

Check out post #6, but if your just new to the genre DA might be a bit overwhelming.... good... but its supposed to be incredibly hard.... Like i said earlier there is Ego Draconis - which will be easier on your comp, and less micro oriented with plenty of the DAO esc diversity and again like I said.... YOU CAN BE A MOTHER FREAKIN DRAGON!!!!! yah.... hope that helps....
BTW Hiyya Master welcome to the forums
