4 player co-op and a separate story line that lets you play as the locust, fighting against the cogs. kind of like a story within a story.

Less glitches, harsher punishments for cheaters (a la Bungie/Halo 3), 4 player co-op, and of course, more cowbell

More gameplay types in multiplayer and customizable characters...and a Carmine that survives !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to see a longer story and less vehicle driving.

The cover feature in Gears is really good, however, I'd like to not stick to walls when I run too close to one. That really grates on me like nothing else.

A limit on chainsaw kills in multiplayer, too. lol Maybe three per match or so.

I'd like to see Carmines 3rd brother live the whole game! More Cole Train speeches and some new weapons, preferably that staff with 2 chainsaws.
